Amy & Shane

So, here’s a little selection of shots from a recent wedding at one of my favourite wedding venue’s….St. Audries Park  near Minehead.  I had a wonderful time photographing Amy & Shane’s wedding. From the preparations to the wedding breakfast, they were great fun.

Christina & Aaron

It’s been a while since my last post, so I thought I’d showcase a recent wedding I shot for the lovely Christina & Aaron.  Their wedding took place in the beautiful countryside on the edge of Somerset. From preparations at Winford Manor to the ceremony at All Saints Church, Wrington and then on to the reception  at Aldwick Court Farm  set in a stunning  vineyard. The weather wasn’t as good as you would hope for a June wedding, but it didn’t dampen their spirits! We manged to get a break in the rain for long enough to go for a tour of the farm and vineyard to get some fun shots in the muddy fields. Good job Christina brought her pink wellies!….

Wall Street Journal

Last week I was contact by the Wall Street Journal asking if they could use a photo from a wedding I had shot.

To give you some back story….this was slightly different to your usual wedding. The Bride & Groom both worked as writers for the New Scientist and they were doing an experiment to see what part the hormone Oxytocin had on peoples behaviour. They call it the trust molecule.  Allegedly, this hormone is supposed to control how caring or cruel people become.

They took blood samples of the Bride, Groom and a few guests before and after the wedding ceremony , which I had to document. There was a man in a lab coat taking the samples and placing them into a centrifuge ready for testing. As I say…a bit different to your usual wedding.

Here’s a link to the online article in the Wall Street Journal.

Anyway, I have posted the article below.
